About the Hudson Judo Yudanshakai

The Hudson Judo Yudanshakai was founded in 1961, and was known as the New York Yudanshakai.  In 1970, the name was changed Hudson Judo Association, and again on June 10, 1993, we officially became the Hudson Judo Yudanshakai.

This is an organization of dojos in the greater New York City area, and our goal is to promote the growth and evolution of Judo by offering venues for competition, practice and learning.

Competitions are scheduled throughout the year, and are offered at various member Dojos. Certain competitions take place in venues dedicated to the event.
