The APA Judo Club is conveniently located in North Bergen, NJ about 5 minutes drive from the northern NJ turnpike or the GW Bridge. Our students include beginning recreational players thru national level competitors. Among our students have been National Champions Doug Nelson and Andy Ruggiero, members of the US World and Olympic Teams respectively.

Clyde Worthen- Head Instructor and fifth degree black belt was National, National Collegiate, and Pan American Judo Champion and a member of 4 US World Teams.

Class Schedules

Junior- 5- 14 years Mon – Wed 7- 8:00pm Sat 10-11am

Seniors 15 years + above Mon – Wed 8- 9:30pm Sat 11-12:30pm

Classes are held at the APA Recreation Center 2100 85^th Street in North Bergen NJ. We now have a 75’x 30’ mat space making it one of the largest in the area.

Visitors from other clubs are always welcome to train with us.
